Mental health can be a difficult subject to talk about.

Not because it’s rare but because it’s deeply human.

Most of us have either struggled ourselves, supported someone we care about, or wondered if someone around us might be going through something difficult.

And often the hardest part is simply knowing 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

What do you say?
How do you ask if someone is okay?
What if you say the wrong thing?

Mental health awareness isn’t about having all the answers.

Sometimes it’s just about learning how to recognize when someone might be struggling and feeling a little more confident reaching out with empathy and understanding.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 focuses on building that awareness and helping people approach these conversations with care.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer someone is simply letting them know they’re not alone.

Most of us have seen an AED mounted on a wall somewhere.

In an arena.
A workplace.
A school hallway.

But many people quietly wonder the same thing:

“W𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘧 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰?”

When someone goes into cardiac arrest, every minute matters. CPR and an AED can help keep blood flowing and deliver a life-saving shock until paramedics arrive.

Still, in a real emergency, people often hesitate. Not because they don’t care, but because they’re afraid of doing something wrong.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗣𝗥 & 𝗔𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 was created to help people better understand what happens during cardiac arrest and how these tools are designed to guide you step by step.

You don’t have to be a medical professional to help.

Sometimes awareness alone can make the difference between standing by… and stepping forward.

Burn injuries happen more often than people realize.

A hot pan in the kitchen.
A workplace accident.
An electrical panel.
A child touching something they shouldn’t.

In those moments, people often react on instinct — and sometimes the advice we’ve heard over the years isn’t actually the safest.

Butter? Ice? Cover it? Leave it?

Burns can range from minor to very serious, and the first few steps you take can make a big difference in preventing further damage.

Our 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 was created to help people better understand:

• the different types of burns
• what they actually look like
• and what the first response should be

Because when someone is hurt, even simple knowledge can help reduce panic and guide the right action.

You’re at a soccer game, a construction site, or even just walking down the street… and suddenly someone is badly injured.

There’s blood. A lot of it.

People gather. Someone says “call 911.”
But those first few minutes can feel incredibly long.

Most people just don’t know what to do safely.

Should you apply pressure?
Should you move them?
Do you use a cloth? A tourniquet?

Severe bleeding can become life-threatening in just minutes, which is why awareness matters.

Our Bleeding Control Awareness Course focuses on recognizing serious bleeding and understanding the simple steps that can help slow it down until emergency responders arrive.

Not everyone will face a moment like this.
But if you ever do, knowing what to do can matter more than you think.

This is a difficult topic to talk about but it’s an important one.

Imagine walking past a park bench and noticing a young adult slumped over.
Their breathing seems shallow. Their skin looks pale. There’s an open bag beside them.

Your heart would probably start racing.

Most people want to help in a moment like that… but many simply don’t know what to do next.

Do you try to wake them?
Do you call someone?
Do you wait?
What if it’s an overdose?

These are the kinds of situations we hope none of us ever encounter but the reality is that they do happen in our communities.

That’s one of the reasons we created our 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗲 & 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲. To help them feel a little more prepared if they ever find themselves in a moment like this.

It walks through simple but critical steps like recognizing warning signs, calling for help, and understanding how naloxone can save a life while waiting for first responders.

Because when something serious happens, even a few seconds can make a difference.
