Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter. ⁣

It is my obligation as a mother to raise my children to know that if the conversation is hard to have THATS THE ONE WORTH HAVING. I want my children to not just survive in this world I want them to change it. ⁣

I want them to feel safe when they leave their home, feel empowered to speak up for those around them who do not + to always educate those who are in need.⁣

We all have a part and for non of us is it to say silent. ⁣

IT STARTS AT HOME. ⁣

It’s National baking day! ⁣

To celebrate give these babies a whirl. ⁣


Almond Shortbread Thumbprint Cookies ⁣


Ingredients ⁣

2.5 cups of almond flour ⁣
6 tbsp of unsalted butter ⁣
1/2 tsp of sea salt⁣
2.5 tbsp of maple syrup ⁣
6-8 tbsp of jam ⁣

Directions ⁣

Combine flour, butter salt and syrup together. ⁣
Once well combined and a dough has formed. ⁣
Scoop out 1.5 tbsp spoons and tool into a ball. ⁣
Place on lined baking sheet and lightly press down with your palm. ⁣
Once there is a slightly flatter surface press your thumb into the dough. ⁣
Spoon in jam.⁣
Bake for 12-15 mins (or until golden brown) at 350 ⁣

One bowl wonder. ⁣


There’s no wrong way to master the Buddha bowl. And let’s be real it’s more about the placement of all the things than all the things. ⁣

And so because and I love them so much we made them an official recipe to share the love + nourishment. ⁣


Since there is no wrong way and they are so easy customize, switch things up as you see fit. More nuts, less onions, chicken instead of eggs. ⁣

Here’s the recipe so you can make them this weekend - or even meal prep for the week. ⁣

Brussels Sprouts + Kale Detox Buddha Bowl⁣

Ingredients:⁣
4-6 large kale leaves ⁣
3 cups Brussels sprouts⁣
1/4 cup olive oil⁣
1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard⁣
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice⁣
½ teaspoon sea salt⁣
1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup ⁣
1/4 cup of raw veggies of choice – chopped ⁣
½ cup Chick peas- drained and rinsed. ⁣

Directions⁣

1. Rinse off the vegetables. Slice the kale and brussels sprouts very finely or shred in the food processor.⁣
2. Mix together the olive oil, mustard, lemon juice, sea salt and honey.⁣
3. Pour dressing over kale and Brussels and massage. Let sit for a few mins.⁣
4. Chop veggies of choice, and place on top of greens.⁣
5. Add chick peas⁣
6. Chop the almonds finely or pulse in food processor until chopped.⁣
7. Toss all ingredients together in a bowl and enjoy. ⁣
