I was exhausted. I had just gone through a separation. I lost the company I had poured my heart and soul into building. I lost my sense of direction. I was at my lowest point.

But then, something life-changing happened: I found Kundalini Yoga at Yoga West "Home of Kundalini Yoga".
I had practiced yoga since I was 20, but this was different. From the very first class, my body, mind, and soul felt the powerful transformation Kundalini Yoga can offer.

Everything started to shift. I met my husband. I discovered a new career path. I rebuilt myself from the ground up.

During COVID, I took the Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training. We moved to a vibrant, artistic, hippie village, and my life has never been the same, in the absolute best way.

Now, I teach meditation every weekday and have been teaching Kundalini Yoga twice a week for the past four years. I also host seasonal, larger Kundalini events.

I couldn’t be more grateful to Hari Singh and Guru Raj Kaur. I hold the deepest love and respect for them both.

What is Morning Anxiety?

Morning anxiety refers to waking up with feelings like:
- Uneasiness or dread
- Racing thoughts
- A tight chest or increased heart rate
- Restlessness or irritability
- A sense that "something's wrong," even if nothing specific is happening

It’s not a separate diagnosis, but rather a pattern that can show up with generalized anxiety, chronic stress, or simply during challenging seasons of life.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve experienced that vague feeling that “something’s wrong.” I used to think that was just part of being human. But after making some lifestyle changes, like cutting out alcohol completely and committing to a 45-minute Kundalini meditation every morning, I’ve noticed something incredible.

More and more days, that low-key anxiety lifts.

I didn’t realize it was possible to wake up feeling truly at peace. While I still have days where that uneasy feeling returns, those peaceful, calm, happy mornings are becoming more frequent.

“It’s your birthright to be happy.”

I invite you to join me in claiming that deep sense of peace within yourself.
