Positive Discipline Training for Parents, Parent Educators, Teachers & EAs, School Staff, Early Childhood Educators and Childcare Providers. Being called Mom more than 500 times a day (578 to be exact, yes I did count once), I sometimes forget my actual name is Sarah. As is true for many mothers, my role as ‘mom’ takes precedence over my other credentials and roles I play in life. Becoming a mother has encouraged me to grow and has inspired me to guide other parents towards finding their true essence. I am also a Certified Gottman Educator, a Positive Discipline Parent Educator and have a Masters in Social Work. In addition, I have completed training in the Circle of Security Parenting Program, Emotional Focused Couples Therapy and Play Therapy. I have been working with families in a variety of settings for the past nine years, including facilitating parent support groups, developing and delivering parent education workshops, as a family counsellor and a children's counsellor.
