Our residents had a great time today making lamb pencil holders!
Definitely not a baaaaaaad idea! It was a wonderful craft activity filled with singing and laughter that has become part of our craft time!

Happy April Fool's Day! Our Activity Director Anne had a mischievous morning sharing pranks and jokes with our residents and staff! Funny highlights included residents saying " Open Sesame" to open elevator doors, and several others questioning the activities that were posted for today! Honestly, wrestling with alligators, belly dancing, hmmmm just a few.🤣🤣 In the end we all had a good laugh, some even moved to tears of laughter!

We are currently seeking a Full-time Cook to join our team! Willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities include meal preparation and assisting with daily kitchen requirements. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, that will ensure a safe and sanitary work environment. Reporting directly to the Food Service Manager.
Qualifications will include prior experience as a cook or experience in institutional cooking. Grade 12 diploma, and relevant culinary certification, current provincial Safe Food and Handling Certificate, and strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Elvis was in the building and will be coming back! Thank you Harvey and Crystal for the wonderful Elvis Tribute. We truly appreciated the wonderful performance! The vocals and dancing were spot on, and our residents especially loved how you interacted and sang with them off stage!

Thank you Stephanie Morrison, from Giddy Up n Go Ponies, for the wonderful afternoon, allowing us to spend precious time with all your little fur babies. The laughter and joy from the residents as they held and watched the animals was truly special and brought back many fond memories for everyone!

We certainly have plenty of green thumbs here! Our residents are getting into spring fever, and we began to plant our vegetable and flower seeds. We look forward to watching them grow, then transplanting them into our raised flower beds once the weather gets warmer. Finishing up our day with a fun game of balloon volleyball!
