✨More Than Gifts, More Than Cheer… Let’s Give Hope This Year

From February 5–27, 2026, I’ll be taking on 2,000 push-ups for The Push-Up Challenge, supporting the Canadian Mental Health Association. CMHA National

After a decade navigating my own mental health journey, I know how many barriers stand between someone and the support they need. That’s why this challenge means so much to me.

I’ve set a goal to raise $3,000. Your donation helps CMHA provide crisis support, education, and accessible mental health programs for those who need it.

✨ If you can, please consider donating today—early support makes a huge impact and helps build momentum before the challenge starts.

👉 Donate here: https://www.thepushupchallenge.ca/fundraiser/savannahstuermer

And if you aren't able to donate, a quick share goes a long way. It helps reach new people and spreads hope where it’s needed.

Thank you for your support.

Mental health has shaped so much of my life. I’ve battled depression and anxiety for about a decade, and in that time I’ve faced days that felt impossibly heavy — days when getting out of bed felt like climbing a mountain, when I felt disconnected from myself and from the people I love, and wh...

I know firsthand how devastating mental health struggles can be—and I’m not alone. Millions of Canadians are silently fighting battles that remain unseen, often without the support they desperately need.

That’s why I took on The Push-Up Challenge —to raise awareness and critical funds for mental health programs that provide essential crisis support and life-changing resources.
While the challenge may have ended, the fight continues.

Donations are open until March 21, and every dollar goes directly to the Canadian Mental Health Association to help those in crisis.
If mental health has touched your life or someone you care about, I encourage you to take action today. Even the smallest donation can show someone they are not alone and bring light to their journey.

Together, let’s show our community—and our country—that mental health matters. Click here to donate and make a difference: https://www.thepushupchallenge.ca/.../the-push-up-challenge

✨ We did it! ✨
What started as a $1,000 goal became $2,248 raised for mental health initiatives!
Thanks to you, we made a real difference.
70,510 participants. 64+ million push-ups. $3.9 million raised nationwide.

But this isn’t just about numbers—it’s about real people.

Every day, 2,000 lives are lost to su***de. I know that pain. I know what it’s like to feel like there’s no way forward. But I also know that hope exists—even when it’s hard to see.

That’s why I’m not stopping here. We have until March 21 to do even more. Every dollar raised provides resources, support, and hope for those who need it most.

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to give, this is it. Let’s keep pushing. Let’s show the world that mental health matters.

Depression is a 20-pound weight on my chest, crushing me and making it hard to breathe. It clouds my days with hopelessness, turning even the simplest tasks into mountains I have no strength to climb. Each morning during a depressive episode, before my feet touch the floor, I’m already exhausted—dreading another day of fighting a battle no one can see.

It drowns me in relentless thoughts. I reach for distractions, but nothing quiets the darkness. I become a shadow of myself, detached from the world. Colors fade, and the warmth of human connection slips away. Guilt and shame wrap around me, whispering all I’ve yet to accomplish. My will to live flickers like a candle in the wind.

Depression stole years from me—years I’ll never get back. But I’m still here. Still fighting. Still standing. And I refuse to let others face their mental health battles alone.

That’s why I’m raising funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association. Your donation could mean the difference between isolation and support, despair and hope. It will fund therapy, crisis services, and life-changing mental health resources for those who need them most. No one should have to battle a mental illness alone.

If you can, please donate. Click the link in my bio or comment ‘hope,’ and I’ll send it to you. Together, we can save lives.

Day 14 of The Push-Up Challenge—77 push-ups for today, but I’m raising the stakes! Every time this post is shared I will hold a plank for 1 minute. Please be sure to tag me when you share so I can see it!
