One thing I know about our culture is that when you share your deepest feelings, like being depressed, people often don’t know how to handle it.
Some will feel they need to give you constant attention, feel you’re a burdan to them, while others may judge you or even distance themselves.
It’s not because they’re bad people—it’s because we were raised in a culture that values only strength, resilience, and hiding pain. Vulnerability often feels uncomfortable or misunderstood.
But the truth is, being open about our struggles doesn’t make us weak. It makes us human. 💙
