Meet Kiersten, our Winter 50/50 Grand Prize winner! 🎉

Kiersten, a NICU nurse at Niagara Health, had already purchased her tickets early, but during a night shift she received one final reminder email and decided to take a chance. “I was thinking, why not? It’s more chances to win. So I purchased $75 more in tickets,” she said.

The next day, after her shift, Kiersten woke up to a message from the Niagara Health Foundation. And when she called back, she received the exciting news: she was the grand prize winner! Kiersten won the $26,218 jackpot!

She immediately shared the news with her wife. Now, they’re planning a long-awaited trip to Greece!

When asked what she’d say to someone thinking about buying a ticket, Kiersten shared, “Do it. It’s a win-win, you’re helping the hospital and giving yourself a chance to win. It only takes one ticket.”
