Why add PEMF to your massage? 💆‍♀️

Massage works on the muscles you can feel.
PEMF works deeper, at the cellular level, supporting how your body heals and recovers.

When you combine the two, you’re not just relaxing the body… you’re actually helping it recover better.

Why people love adding PEMF:
• Helps reduce inflammation while I’m working on the muscles
• Can target a second area at the same time (back + shoulder, hip + knee, etc.)
• Supports deeper healing, not just surface relief
• Helps calm flare-ups faster (tightness, soreness, old injuries)
• Great for areas that are too tender to work on directly
• Leaves you feeling more relaxed and less “sore after”

It’s an easy add-on. You’re already here, already on the table, and it just gives your body that extra support while we’re working.

If you’ve been curious about it, this is the best way to try it 🤍

PEMF for Injury Recovery ❤️‍🩹

PEMF supports your body at the cellular level and helps it do what it’s meant to do after an injury.

Whether it’s a sprain, strain, ligament injury, or even a fracture, your body is already trying to heal. This just helps support that process.

How PEMF can help after injury:
• Helps reduce swelling and inflammation
• Can ease pain without adding pressure to the area
• Supports circulation to injured tissue
• May help speed up healing of ligaments and soft tissue
• Can support bone healing after fractures
• Helps the body recover after acute injuries

With injury, frequency matters. In those early stages especially, more consistent sessions can help keep swelling down and support the healing process while your body is actively repairing.

It’s gentle and non-invasive, so it works really well even when an area is too sore to touch much yet.

If you’ve had a recent injury or something just isn’t healing the way you hoped, this can be a really good option.

PEMF FOR ARTHRITIS 👏🏻

PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field therapy) works deeper than massage. Massage helps with muscles and circulation, where PEMF works at the cellular level, supporting your body’s natural healing process.

For arthritis, that can make a huge difference.

Here’s how PEMF can help:
• Reduces inflammation in the joints (one of the main causes of pain)
• Helps decrease stiffness and that “tight” feeling
• Can improve mobility and range of motion
• Supports faster recovery after flare-ups
• May help you move easier day-to-day (walking, grip, getting up/down)

It’s gentle and non-invasive.. you just relax during your session while the machine works.

A lot of people dealing with arthritis aren’t looking for a quick fix… they just want something that helps them feel a little more like themselves again. This can be a great add-on to what you’re already doing.

If you’re curious or want to try it, send me a message or ask at your next appointment 🤍

ATTACHMENTS – WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

Here’s a quick breakdown of the attachments I use and what they’re best for:

BUTTERFLY LOOP
This one is great for smaller, more targeted areas. It wraps nicely around spots like shoulders, knees, or elbows and allows me to really focus in on one area.

LARGE LOOP
This covers a bigger area at once and penetrates deeper. Great for things like hips, low back, or larger muscle groups where we want more overall coverage.

ZOOM PADDLE
This is for very specific, pinpoint work. I use this when we want to hone in on a precise spot, like a trigger point or smaller area of pain.

MAT
This is more full-body and general relaxation. It’s great for overall wellness, circulation, and recovery, or as a base while I focus on specific areas with massage.

Each attachment has its purpose, and I switch between them during your session depending on what your body needs.

That’s why no two sessions are exactly the same.

HOW SHOULD YOU FEEL AFTER PEMF?

This is something a lot of people are unsure about going into their first session.

Most people leave feeling more relaxed, looser, and less tense… especially in the area we worked on.

You might notice:
• less pain or pressure
• improved range of motion
• muscles feeling more “released”

Some people feel a bit tired after, almost like how you feel after a good massage. That’s completely normal… your body is responding and starting to reset.

You can also feel nothing right away, especially after your first session. That doesn’t mean it didn’t work.

The biggest thing I tell clients is to pay attention over the next 24–48 hours. That’s usually when you’ll notice the real changes.

Every body responds differently… and that’s okay. We adjust as we go.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU DO PEMF?

I’ve been getting this question a lot, so here’s a simple way to look at it:

If you’re coming in for specific pain or an injury, I usually recommend starting with 1–2 sessions per week for the first couple of weeks, then reassessing based on how your body is responding.

For chronic issues like ongoing back pain, joint pain, or arthritis, staying consistent with a session every 1–2 weeks can help keep things managed and prevent flare-ups.

If you’re using PEMF for general wellness, recovery, or maintenance, think of it like your regular massage — once every 2–4 weeks works well for most people.

Everyone responds a little differently, so we always adjust based on what your body needs.
