Selkirks Swim Club

Selkirks Swim Club The Columbia Shuswap Selkirks Swim Club is committed to developing through training and competition the potential of all swimmers, from novice to advanced.

The club promotes swimming as a lifelong sport and seeks to not only develop swimming potential, but also skills for life such as sportsmanship, confidence and leadership. The Columbia-Shuswap Selkirk Swim Club is comprised of swimmers from the CSRD which includes the communities of Revelstoke, Sicamous, Salmon Arm, Tappen, and Sorrento. As a SwimBC sanctioned entity, the organization provides affordable access to pre-competitive and competitive swimming for youth. The club operates out of Salmon Arm Recreation Centre with a full complement of certified coaches and trained officials. The Selkirks are governed by a non-profit society – the CSRD Youth Swimming Society. Volunteers, donations and fundraising activities are essential components to the success of the club.

Awesome weekend in Penticton Feb 20-22 for the North and Interior Division Championship. The first stop in the champ season. Selkirk’s sent 14 swimmers and had amazing results!! Congrats to everyone for working so hard!!

Holly - Holly swam so well in Kelowna that she is now the fastest 10 year old in Canada in the 200 breast and 200 fly. So awesome Holly! Great work!!

Jack - Jack has we working so hard and has recently achieved his 200IM time standard! Welcome to the competitive team Jack!!

Awesome weekend with our annual Askew’s Shuswap Splash swim meet. Was great to host at our home pool! Kids swam great and had tons of fun. We had amazing community support and are so thankful to everyone who helped plan and volunteered!
