It’s hard to believe that the “Johnny Skull Varity Show” was a year ago today. I am still in awe of how such a small community was able to pull together such an amazing show. From the volunteers, musicians, sound techs, food and beverages, silent auction donations and selfless organizers, the show couldn’t have been more perfect. Of course, like all events, it’s the audience that defines it… and the love and generosity that was shown John was overwhelming. I know that John was overjoyed, honored and moved by the beautiful show of support. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you ALL.

We would like to thank everyone who helped make yesterday’s celebration for John such an amazing success. The outpouring of love and compassion was a humbling and truly beautiful experience. It was made all the more wonderful by the people who shared songs and stories. Truly the perfect tribute. We would like to thank Marcus for providing and operating the sound system we couldn’t have done it without you. Not all heroes where capes…. Some are 5 foot tall redheads. Shirley-pat, thank you, thank you, thank you, for guiding us on our celebration… your words where heartfelt and true. Love from the Fleming family

Dear Friends and Family
For the Celebration at the Legion on Sat Jan 18th at 7pm, we are hoping to run it in a “coffee house” format. There will be a sign-up sheet for whoever would like to sing a song or tell a story, we would appreciate all the stories to be family friendly and limited to five minutes. Musicians please bring your instruments, songs and memories of John and we will celebrate him together. If you are interested and would like to pre sign up please PM me. Please spread the word.
