Today, on Red Dress Day, E‑nangaabe‑jig Health Services stands with our communities to honour and remember the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2‑Spirit people.

We lift up their spirits, their families, and the Nations who continue to carry this weight in their hearts.

Our women, girls, and 2‑Spirit relatives are sacred. They are life givers, knowledge keepers, protectors, and leaders who hold our families and Nations together. They are not statistics; they are loved ones with names, stories, and spirits that continue to walk with us.

The red dress is more than a symbol.
❤️ It is a call to the spirits of those who should still be here.
❤️ It reminds us of our responsibilities to uphold safety, respect, and dignity for all our relations.
❤️ It is a teaching about visibility, truth, and the strength that comes from standing together.

We encourage take time today to learn, reflect, offer prayers, and take action. Hang a dress or wear red in remembrance.

Let us honour those who have been taken and support the families who continue to seek justice.

Through this funding, E-nangaabe-jig Health Services will support more than 760 community members in accessing a primary care provider!

Lead by Indigenous voices for Indigenous voices. This work was only possible because of our partnerships with Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Kettle & Stony Point First Nation, and Walpole Island First Nation.

Thank you to all partners, community leaders, and MPP Bob Bailey for your continued collaboration in moving this work forward.

A $2.8 million provincial investment is helping connect over 5,600 people in the Sarnia-Lambton region to a primary care provider, improving access to care close to home.

This funding will support:
- Rapids Family Health Team , alongside Central Lambton Family Health Team, North Lambton Community Health Centre, and Twin Bridges Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic, connecting over 4,900 patients
- E-nangaabe-jig Health Services, supporting access for over 760 Indigenous community members, in partnership with Aamjiwnaang First Nation Administration and Council, Chippewas of Kettle & Stony Point, and Walpole Island First Nation

Together, we’re continuing to build a more connected and inclusive system, ensuring people can access the care they need, when and where they need it.

Thank you to all partners, leaders, community members and MPP Bob Bailey whose collaboration continues to move this work forward.
