The U of S Pre-Med Club is a student run group designed to help students interested in medicine and health sciences. Being a Pre-Med Club member has it's advantages! Not only do you get to join a community of students interested in the study of health sciences, but you will get full access to the following:
- Discussion groups about medical topics
- MCAT preparation information
- Q & A with current medicine students
- Interview preparation and guidance
- And much more! This page will list general meeting times, times to buy memberships, reminders about events, etc. Please note that liking this page will NOT give you full access to the group! UWorld has graciously offered U of S PMC members a discount for three (!!!) of its products this summer. Hey everyone, we will be hosting a study night on Friday, November 1st at the Health Sciences 1B21 Lounge from 3:00-6:00pm‼️ We hope to give you guys a comfortable space where you can focus on your work, eat, get to know your peers and relax after a long week. There is a very short RSVP form (separate from the membership form), found in our bio and below, and it would help us a lot if you could fill it out if you know you are coming for sure! Even if you aren’t able to fill out the form, you can still come as long as you are a member😼We have posted a map of the lounge in case you aren’t familiar with the space. Hosted from November 5th - February 1st, you will get the opportunity to work alongside fellow PMC members and a medical student to work through mock MMIs once a week. On May 16th from 1:30pm – 4:30pm, the Indigenous Medical Students Association of Saskatchewan (IMSAS) will be hosting an Indigenous Doctors Story Sharing Event! Join three of the College of Medicine’s incredible role models in-person or virtually to hear about their journey through medical education. Want to experience more of what medical school has to offer? Medical students will be present with hands-on demonstrations to help you get a taste of clinical education! Snacks and refreshments will also be available and attendance to the event is free!
