Dance Addiction YXE

DanceAddictionYXE is led by husband and wife duo Lorne and Katie Jensen.

Originating out of their humble basement studio in 2019, their business has grown to teach large and lively studio classes regularly in Saskatoon. Their core programming is a structured curriculum of recreational dance classes in West Coast Swing, and introductory classes in nightclub and two-step. Katie and Lorne met dancing in 2012, and found an instant connection with each other through west coast swing. The dance took them to multiple events throughout Canada and the US to train and compete. The knowledge they gained along the way and the experience of the dance scene motivates them to bring that same knowledge and feeling to Saskatoon.

We are SO pleased to be hosting Champion dancers, Keerigan Rudd and Mia Primavera in Saskatoon!!

The West Coast Swing weekend will feature 7 workshops and 2 social dances! Early bird prices on now until the end of April!

About them:
Keerigan Rudd and Mia Primavera are a dynamic West Coast Swing partnership, blending passion, precision, and artistry. Keerigan’s background in music and engineering gives his dancing a unique structure and musicality, while Mia’s roots in theatre and diverse dance styles bring expressive performance and creativity. Together, they balance technical depth with playful energy—whether lighting up the social floor, captivating audiences on stage, or sharing their knowledge in workshops. Featured at major events across the U.S. and internationally, they inspire dancers everywhere with their connection, their teaching, and their fresh approach to the dance.

We are pleased to announce another opportunity to level up your WCS!!

On March 28th, we will be hosting Calgary All-Star lead, Andrew Opyrchal, to teach 3 workshop classes! This is the same day as our bi-weekly Saturday dance, so we will cap it off with a social dance.

Join Lorne and Lauren for a fun and lighthearted intro to one of the fastest growing dance styles in the world!

Beginner 1; for those with no dance experience, (YES even if you have 2 left feet!!), those that have never done WCS before, or those wishing to revisit the core fundamentals to hone their skills.

Beginner 1.5; for those that have taken our Beginner 1 course, ready to review and expand on the basics, learn essential social patterns, and even get a taste of musicality in this dance.
