- And So Much More! Clients often say it is a mixture between chiropractics and massage therapy.
- It is a non-invasive hands on treatment that focuses on removing restrictions and tension in the body to restore proper movement, alignment, function and balance. The body is assessed as a whole as symptoms do not always occur where the issue is.
- Treatment works not only to balance your musculoskeletal system but your nervous, circulatory, lymphatic, digestive, and reproductive systems too.
- All treatment is done over the clothes, it is easiest if you wear a t-shirt and shorts if possible.
- I include stretches and exercises for all my clients to follow as "homework" to help them maintain and improve results after treatments. Let me tell you a little bit about me! I was born in Vancouver and moved to small town Saskatchewan when I was 10 years old. I moved to Saskatoon right after high school to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. While in university I got my personal training certification through CSEP and began personal training at the university in 2013. I trained athletes to “average Joes” to individuals with chronic conditions. I also ran the Saskatoon Fire Department, Saskatoon City Police and RCMP applicant fitness testing. Once I finished my degree I got my exercise therapist certification through CSEP and started my Masters degree in Kinesiology focused on clinic cardiac exercise physiology. During my Masters I taught a variety of undergraduate lectures and worked a lab teaching assistant. I received the Canadian Pediatric Cardiology Researcher of the Year Award for my Masters work in 2017. I then went on to work as an exercise therapist for the Saskatchewan Health Authority. During my time with the health region I realized there was so much more I could provide for my clients if I could provide more hands-on services which is how I was lead into manual osteopathic therapy and neurokinetic therapy!
