1. Get the right backpack
Any backpack will put somewhat of a strain on the spine. Over 1/3 of students end up carrying more than 30% of their body weight in their backpacks. Most backpack pain is caused by excessive weight in the pack, inappropriate fit, and improper wear of the backpack.

2. Pack Smartly:
Organize your backpack so that heavier items are close to your back and lighter items are in front. This helps maintain better posture and balance.

3. Practice Good Posture:
Sit up straight and use a chair that supports your lower back. Adjust your desk and computer screen to be at eye level to avoid straining your neck.

Trigger finger occurs when one of your finger tendons becomes swollen and inflamed and gets caught inside its tendon sheath, causing the finger to get stuck in a bent position. It is often painful, occurs more commonly in the morning, and improves after moving the finger around for a while. Activities that require repetitive firm gripping increase the risk of developing a trigger finger. It is also more common in people with diabetes and in women. Common treatments for trigger fingers include activity modification. Reduce activities that make your symptoms worse, physical therapy, ice/hear therapy, and cortisone injections.

The sacroiliac joints are the joints where the lower part of the spine (sacrum) connects to the pelvis. Sacroiliac joint pain is most commonly felt in the low back and buttock but can also be referred into the thigh and leg. Potential causes of sacroiliac pain include arthritis, traumatic injury, pregnancy and post-partum, systemic inflammatory conditions, and infection. The treatment of sacroiliac pain depends on your symptoms and on the underlying cause of the sacroiliac joint pain. Chiropractic can be very successful when treating mechanical induced SIJ pain.

Air Quality Index or AQI is a way to demonstrate the air quality level. The AQI scale ranges from 0 to 500, with 0 being the best and 500 the worst. When you run in bad air quality, it can pose health risks, with more risks, the higher the AQI rating. Knowing when it’s safe to run outside is essential as the air quality worsens. Generally, it's best to exercise indoors if the AQI is orange or, worse, rated above 100. For vulnerable people, including pregnant women, people with asthma, lung or heart conditions, and seniors, exercising indoors is also best for moderate air quality days an AQI of 51 to 100. If you are not in a vulnerable group, you should be able to run outside on green and yellow air quality days or when the AQI is 100 or less.

Research still hasn't confirmed a cause-and-effect relationship between weather and joint pain, although many people say they can predict the weather based on their body aches. Changes in barometric pressure which happen as weather systems changes can trigger these sensations in the joints. When there is less air pressure surrounding the body this can allow muscles, tendons, and other tissues around joints to expand. This can place pressure on joints, potentially leading to joint pain.

Another potential cause is what you do on cold, damp days that can worsen joint pain or stiffness, such as sit at home all day without much movement at all.

Rotator cuff pain can be caused by several factors, including:

Rotator Cuff Tears: Tears in the tendons or muscles of the rotator cuff can lead to pain, especially with movement.

Impingement: When the space between the acromion (part of the shoulder blade) and the rotator cuff narrows, the tendons can become pinched or impinged, causing pain.

Overuse or Repetitive Strain: Activities that involve repetitive overhead motions or heavy lifting can strain the rotator cuff muscles and tendons, leading to pain.

Treatment depends on the underlying cause and severity of the pain, ranging from rest, chiropractic, and physical therapy to surgical intervention in cases of severe tears.
