CarePro Home Care Services is currently seeking Personal Support Worker to join our team of committed professionals who show compassion, trust and respect for the people we support. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide on-site support services to people with a disability or illness in their home, and will be responsible for maintaining the safety and dignity of all those you support. Our Support Workers are vital members of our team, and the successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine desire to help people and an ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals.

As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide exceptional care and support to our clients in the community.
Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Perform homemaking tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities
• Monitor and report changes in client's health and well-being
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for clients and yourself

Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program or equivalent education and experience
• Dementia care training and experience is preferred
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Reliable mode of transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

As CarePro nurses, we more affordable care for our senior clients by considering social determinants of health. Our rate is usually 10-15% lower than other home care services in Saskatoon.
