Spoiled like a Queen 🐝 💛🖤

Spent a fun afternoon this past weekend being spoiled by all the amazing women in my circle! My bridal party and all 3 mamas helped plan and arrange every last beautiful detail. There was lots of road warriors that day so thank you to those who had to travel and for those that couldn’t make it but made sure they were there in spirit💛. The crowd, food, venue, and games were 👌🏼! Feeling like the luckiest gal around🥹. Thank you🖤

Forever late on birthday posts. Sweet Izzy, your birthday is my favorite day because I am so proud to look back on all that you’ve become since being my 6lb teeny tiny little squish. It feels like a life time ago I was able to hold you in one arm but also feels like yesterday, which brings up all the bittersweet feelings. Looking back on this last year there’s been so many firsts. First goals, first loose teeth, first day of kindergarten, first two wheeler bike ride, and so many more. You are creative, GOOFY, high spirited, outgoing, thoughtful, and forever asking questions to figure out exactly how this whole world works. Thank you for choosing us as your parents and for giving us the amazing opportunity to watch you grow everyday. I cannot wait to see what 6 brings for you. Happy happy birthday sweets🩵!!

These photos capture you so well💗. Gentle and sweet with baby girl and playful and silly with our little man. Today and everyday I hope you know that you are so appreciated, loved, and beyond admired. Watching you be a dad to not only Isaac but now Iylah brings a whole other level of love and I will never get tired of watching! 33 more days until we can settle into our new family home and extra bonus.. have you home every night! Here is our little man that greeted us a few weeks early on August 8th at 10:14 am! Today you are a week and a day old and already I am thinking time is flying! I am currently laying in bed.. fairly exhausted I might add from transitioning to mama mode this week, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have a new appreciation for Aerosmith's "I don't want to miss a thing" because all I want to do is stay awake and watch you grow so I don't miss any moments of you being this small, sweet, and content.

While I am laying here your dad is beside me snoring (soft enough, so I am not going to nudge him to keep it down over there😙) and I can hear your little breaths and grunts from your bassinet beside our bed. All these sounds together might sound like a zoo to someone else but to me it makes my heart melt and laugh because I can't tell if you sound more like a tiny mouse, a puppy.. or maybe a seahorse if they made sounds🤔.

Isaac, you have completely changed our lives. I hope you know there is about 17+ times in a day your dad and I will take a moment to just look at you and say how truly lucky we are to be your parents and also how FREAKING CUTE your little everything is💙. We love you more than you will ever know in your life time little man! I am so excited to watch you grow.. but at the same time you could just stay a week old forever if you wanted, yeah🙂!? So happy you are here Xo

Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes and all the amazing messages this weekend regarding our perfect news💙. What a perfect birthday gift to come home to Kyle surprising me all the way from Saskatoon and then to find out our little bean.. well.. has a little bean🙊.
