The Prairie Quarter Horse Breeders Group, founded in 2009, is a group of Canadian ranchers who have banded together to have an Anuual Sale of their horses in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, once a year. All horses purchased each year at the Select Prairie Quarter Horse Sale are eligible to compete (for the lifetime of the horse) at the Annual Prairie Futurity, on the day prior to each year’s sale. The 2011 futurity offered competitions for horses 2 years old and up with Youth, Non-pro & Open classes. Major sponsors such as Affordable Barns & Garage and many others generously donated cash prizes, a one – year lease of a horse trailer courtesy of Moose Jaw Toyota Trailer Sales and a working cow horse saddle , courtesy of K&K Livestock, of Calgary, Alberta. We welcome all Interested Participants!! Several clinics are designed with the futurity classes in mind – some are for general skills.
