✨ Meet Jolissa! ✨

We’re thrilled to welcome Jolissa Simon to the Astoria team! Jolissa is a Registered Psychologist with Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE), and she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both counselling and assessment.

Jolissa works with children (ages 4+), youth, and families, providing individualized support to address their emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. Her approach is compassionate and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy.

In addition to individual counselling and parent education sessions, Jolissa offers comprehensive psychoeducational and mental health assessments for children and youth. She can explore concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, learning disorders, and trauma, offering insight and recommendations to help support children’s emotional development and learning.

Price Update - Effective January 1, 2026

At the start of the new year, the hourly rates for some of our services will be increasing in accordance with the updated fee recommendation set by the Psychology Association of Saskatchewan.

These adjustments allow us to continue providing you with the high quality and individualized care you’ve come to expect at Astoria, while also supporting the ongoing growth of our team and services.

✨ Meet Hildy! ✨

We are excited to welcome Hildy Bennett (M.Ed., Ed.D., CCC) to the Astoria team! Hildy offers individual counselling for children (ages 4+), youth, and adults, as well as parent education sessions to help support the family as a whole.

She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and education to this role, with a number of advanced degrees, including a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Cambridge.

Hildy’s counselling approach is gentle and person-centred, meeting each client exactly where they are. She draws from art and play-based therapy (including drawing, clay, and sand tray), Gestalt, solution-focused, cognitive behavioural (CBT), and psychodynamic approaches.

In a warm and judgement-free environment, Hildy helps build awareness, resilience, and self-compassion, helping you move toward a more grounded and authentic sense of self.
