Employee Spotlight: Izzie Oman, Vocational Counsellor at IVRS

We are thrilled to spotlight Izzie, one of the exceptional members of our team at Integrated Vocational Rehab Solutions (IVRS). Izzie is a dedicated professional whose passion for mental well-being, resilience, and personal growth truly shines through in everything she does.

With a background in Psychology (BA with distinction, University of Alberta), Izzie has consistently demonstrated her commitment to empowering individuals, particularly those navigating disability and reintegration challenges. In her role as a Vocational Counsellor at IVRS, she works tirelessly to support individuals in their return-to-work journey. From providing job search training and conducting labor market research to offering valuable administrative support, she goes above and beyond to ensure clients can achieve their career goals.

In addition to her work at IVRS, Izzie contributes to important research as a Research Assistant with the University of Alberta Prison Project, where she conducts interviews with provincial inmates post-release to help improve reintegration efforts. She also serves as a Youth Program Coordinator at the Sparks Foundation of Lloydminster, where she collaborates on initiatives that promote mental health awareness and resilience among youth.

Her leadership experience, including serving as president of a SADD chapter, has honed her skills in program coordination, team management, and community engagement—skills that make her an invaluable asset to our team.

We are incredibly proud to have Izzie on our team and are grateful for the positive impact she continues to make on the individuals and communities she serves.
