Some seasons ask for balance.
Some ask for strength.
Some ask you to turn everything upside down and listen closely.
Yoga meets you in all of them. 🫶🏼

If your body has been asking for rest, this is your invitation.
YOGA NIDRA - A Quiet Winter Light✨
Wednesday December 17 at 7:30PM
This time of year can feel heavy — emotionally, mentally, physically. Even when there’s joy, the body often feels tired, and the mind is pulled in many directions.
This Yoga Nidra practice is designed for anyone who feels:
• overstimulated
• run down
• emotionally full
• in need of true rest
Before the rush of the holidays, this practice offers a chance to pause and reset. You’ll be guided into deep relaxation, allowing the body to soften, the breath to slow, and the nervous system to recalibrate.
In this guided experience, you simply lie down comfortably and are led through breath, awareness, and gentle imagery (no effort required).
Step into the season feeling more grounded, supported, and present… with rest that actually lands.
✨Why Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is not sleep — and it’s not meditation in the way most people imagine.
It’s a guided practice of conscious rest, where the body is invited to fully let go while the mind is gently led into a deeply relaxed, receptive state.
In this state:
✨the nervous system shifts out of “doing” and into repair
✨stress hormones begin to soften
✨the body can rest more deeply than it often does during sleep
Many people describe one Yoga Nidra session as feeling like hours of rest.
If your body has been asking for rest, this is your invitation. We would love to hold space for you.

Winter yoga just hits different ❄️
Cold outside. Calm inside.
Warm mug in your hands.
Soft lights. Quiet room.
You land on your mat.
Your breath slows.
Your shoulders drop.
Whatever this season holds for you,
your mat is waiting. 🤍
12/13/2025
There’s truly nothing more powerful than your breath, and when you learn how to work with it consciously, everything begins to shift.
In yoga, we return to the breath again and again because it’s simple, accessible, and profoundly transformative.
Modern science supports what yoga has taught for thousands of years: slow, controlled breathing can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, lower stress hormones, improve oxygen efficiency, and increase mental clarity.
Pause.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Let your breath meet you right where you are. 🤍

☕️ Day 11
A Moment With Your Mug
Small rituals can shift your whole nervous system when you do them with presence.
✨ Practice:
Wrap your hands around your mug. Notice the temperature, the scent, the weight of it. Take a long inhale, exhale slowly. Then gently roll your shoulders, stretch your neck, or sway side-to-side before taking a mindful sip.
✨ Why it works:
Engaging multiple senses anchors you into the present moment and interrupts mental overwhelm. Pairing warmth with slow movement relaxes fascia, lowers muscle tension, and calms the vagus nerve.
What did your warm drink invite you to notice today?

🌿 Day 10
Essential Oil Reset
Aromatherapy can pull you out of your head and back into your body in seconds.
✨ Practice:
Place 1 drop of your favourite essential oil in your palms. Rub together, cup over nose, inhale softly, exhale slowly.
✨ Why it works:
Scent directly influences the limbic system — the emotional centre of the brain.
Which essential oil brings you the most calm?

❄️ Day 9
A Moment of Silence
Stillness is medicine.
✨ Practice:
Sit for 30 seconds in complete silence. No phone. No task. Just presence.
✨ Why it works:
Silence reduces sensory load, helping the brain shift out of survival mode.
