If you’re finding you’re feeling stuck in a state of overwhelm, you’re more quick to react, you’re having a hard time regulating your emotions, you feel uninspired and like your battery is drained, it’s time to deliver some love to your body.

Our bodies are always trying to bring us back to safety. They’re always showing us what we need through symptoms.

In my own journey with burn out, anxiety, depression and chronic illness, I have seen a lot of this idea that our body is out to get us — that it just turned on us out of nowhere. I truly believe our bodies are always sending us messages, but we have just lost connection with our intuition and ability to understand those signals.

Hello friends,

I shared my first post on Substack today. Writing has been a passion of mine my whole life. Let's be real, if there are two things I am good at, it's yapping and writing. But, I digress...

Things have been shifting a lot for me lately. I am still doing photography, but as I took a step back to focus on my health, I found an even deeper passion for holistic nutrition. This dream was placed in my heart when I was a child, growing up with a mother who always prioritized healthy meals & shared her love & knowledge of nutrition.

I felt a lot of shame for my health journey for a long time, which is why I never went through with finishing my nutrition program. However, recently I have found myself feeling called to this career more and more.
Who better to help others with their health than someone who knows what it is like to suffer? I am ready to step into this next chapter and I am excited to share the journey with all of you.

The Art of Nourishing Body, Mind & Soul

I’ve have always believed in nourishing the body as a whole. I’m SO passionate about how whole foods can help us heal & feel our best.

Studying holistic nutrition has given me such a deeper and richer understanding that it’s not just what we eat that matters. As much as that plays a pivotal role in health, we have to take into consideration our physical health, our emotional & mental wellbeing, our lifestyle, environmental factors, our mind body connection, our spiritual wellness & living with purpose.

Our bodies and our lifestyles are all so unique and there is so much to consider when working towards optimal health. As I continue through my course, I’ll be sharing practical tips and insights that make wellness feel less overwhelming & more attainable & enjoyable.

Exposing your eyes to light in the morning signals to your brain that it’s time to start the day. This simple morning ritual supports serotonin production, which enhances your mood, reduces stress, and promotes mental clarity. It also helps regulate metabolism, improve digestion, and keep your immune system strong.

Spend 10-20 minutes outside within the first hour of waking up. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee or matcha, meditating, earthing, or just taking a mindful walk, let the sun’s rays nourish your body from the inside out. It’s one of the easiest, most natural ways to align your body with the rhythm of nature.

Adopting this natural healing modality into my daily routine has been transformative for me in the journey of reclaiming my health. I found so much healing when my rituals and routine became aligned with nature.

So much of our suffering comes from a disconnection to nature & ourselves. It is my dream to help others come home to themselves and to learn that healing doesn’t have to be as complicated as we think it is.

Take a moment to prioritize this nourishing ritual tomorrow morning and feel the difference! Your mind, body, and hormones will thank you.
