Kaitlyn: "I grew up in a very dysfunctional family. My household looked like all forms of abuse and a mother that suffered extreme alcoholism. I suffered silently with self-harm and eating disorders. I found myself in children’s mental health units, on/off all sorts of medication, and was in and out of youth facilities frequently.
Now four months [at Naomi & Ruth], the program has helped me SO MUCH. I now believe I have a purpose for being here. Now, when talking to my youngest child, she sees the change in me! That makes me realize that I am finally doing something right. I give God the glory."
