Tip of the day for cold season: Oscillococcinum - one of my favorite 'nip colds and flus in the bud' type of remedies. Sold in small vials with tiny pellets in most health food stores and pharmacies, or online. The trick to maximum efficacy is to ignore the package instructions of taking a whole vial once a day and instead taking about 5-10 pellets every hour for 3-4 hour or until symptoms are relieved, then as needed. Take at earliest symptoms. I always carry a vial in my purse just in case. Indicated for both adults and children.

Sharing from my colleauges on the positive effects of Tylenol clearing.

This Tylenol just keeps on giving!
Whilst I’ve been working with this boy since 2021 he’s gone from being unable to chew and scripted basic speech and inability to follow instructions to speaking, volunteering conversation, playing piano, joining a baseball team and socialising with family and others.
A series of remedies and today he’s about to get carcinosin. His picture is getting more clear as we go.

Interesting and possibly disconcerting news of the day: 19-months old girl under care for some developmental issues was watching a show on tv with mom about a pregnant mom-to-be receiving and doppler/ultrasound examination and started to panic when she head the whooshing sound of the doppler. Mom was wondering if she remembered her own prenatal experience with the ultrasound which seems to have negatively affected her. Anyone else have stories like this?

Interesting news of the day: 4-year-old boy on the spectrum who responds to detox remedies with tics and eye rolls is showing the same symptoms from drinking Fiji water - a special mineral water high in silicic acid (hydrated quartz/silica) which has been shown to be able to bind to aluminum in the body. Very interesting in my opinion and a sign that it is working :)

Good news of the day: 4-year-old boy on the spectrum, under care for three months, immediately showed some improvement in his speech after a homeopathic remedy made from the Menitorix (meningitis C) vac$$*ine. "Instead of ‘duh’ for ‘ducks’ (he loves ducks) he is now saying ‘ducchh’ – not consistently but now and again. There’s also been random moments of expressive speech coming through like ‘I found you’ and ‘Oh Dear’ and ‘In a minute’ – we might not hear them again but there have been definite occasions. He is trying to sing songs in his own way in the car as well and he babbles to himself more." Small steps in the right direction!
(He has had quite a lot of other remedies already, Menitorix is not a specific for more speech, but it is helping him right now.)

Great news of the day: Lovely 4-year-old girl on the spectrum, under care for only five weeks has already improved with a constitutional remedy in the following ways:
- She is notably happier overall, even her doctor noted it
- She is falling asleep faster and earlier and staying asleep longer
- She is eating her food faster - before it could take 2 hours to feed her, not it only takes one hour, sometimes just 20-30 minutes now
- She stopped pocketing her food in her cheeks, except for satsumas
- She stopped putting her fingers in her mouth and licking her hands all the time
- She is flapping her hands less by 20-30%
- She is vocalizing near-words more
- She has become a bit more engaging and posed for a photo for the first time
The remedy: Carcinosin 30C and 200C, but that does not mean that Carcinosin is a specific for such symptoms, although a common clue to the remedy is sleep latency :)
Has anyone else noticed positive effects of Carc on sleep?

Cautionary tale of the day: A mom messaged me about her little boy who had fallen ill. Mom thought it may be strep and gave Narayani War Mix (Penicillin, Belladonna, Gunpowder, Cortisone, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Pyrogenium, Kali Phos, all in 1M each), 6 times that day in a little water based on advice of another homeopath. He felt much better after the first couple of doses, was happy and playing, but she kept giving it because of the instructions. Then: "Now at 3 am he is kicking and screaming and acting irrationally. He is pointing to things and crying and cannot seem to communicate his needs. He was doing better initially. I'm guessing it was too much?"
So, dear friends, what happened here?

(Please note this post was and is not meant as criticism of the parents, they simply followed another practitioner's advise. This post was just meant to raise awareness around the issues of polypharmacy, high potencies and dosing in general. We don't want to give kids intense aggravations or provings if at all possible, as it will only discourage parents and provide fodders for detractors of homeopathy. Great news of the day: 4-year-old boy on the spectrum, under care for only one month, has already improved in many areas with only two little remedies - Poly-organ and Hyoscyamus.
Poly-organ plus has cleared up stubborn constipation of years standing; now he has two nice stools a day. He had been licking tables and laughing deliriously during the night as well as picking up of little bits of hair obsessively from the floor and biting his parents sometimes, which all stopped with Hyos. He is also sleeping much better now; his sleep had been very disrupted since he was only a few months old :)

Good news of the day: 7-year-old girl with an autism diagnosis is getting very good reports from her therapy centre! The centre wanted her parents to buy her an ipad to use pictures for communication, but now she is starting to speak more and more and the parents have been told she won't need one! She has had quite a lot of different remedies but the va$$*ine clears seem to be helping the most with her speech :)
