What is FASCIA?
Fascia is a connective tissue that covers muscles, organs, blood vessels, and nerves and, like a spider's web, run through our entire body in all directions.
Sometimes, as a result of overload, stress or trauma, the fascia shortens, the muscle inside it clamps, and in turn, squeezes the nerve endings and blood vessels.
When the brain gives the signal to perform the movement, this muscle will not be able to perform the command. And the movement will be performed at the expense of other, smaller muscles. Which in turn will be overloaded, forming a cascade of disorders and dysfunctions.
Pain is a major syndrome. When we do not use our abdominal muscles to breathe, back muscles become overloaded and it will lead to chest and lumbar pain.
