Not sure how to do repair in a relationship? Start with validation. It might sound something like I’m really sorry I hurt your feelings. Then you might clarifying the miscommunication. Her feelings are often due to a miscommunication or an untrue story we’re telling ourselves. Most of us are not intentionally hurtful. So you might then say that’s not what I intended to communicate. Can we try that again? Next time you find yourself in a conflict, try it!
