Kelburn Recovery Centre is a progressive, interdisciplinary addiction treatment centre dedicated to excellence in state-of-the-art treatment modalities. Settled on a private estate in southern Manitoba, our intensive in-patient treatment program starts at 42 days and is designed to effectively address mental health and addiction.
***Medically Assisted Detox
Participants are not required to be detoxed before admission. Our Nurse Practitioner will conduct a medical assessment upon arrival and prescribe medications to effectively manage withdrawal. We focus on clearing the body of substances in a safe and comfortable environment to prepare clients for the therapeutic work that lies ahead. Our detox services are highly individualized, considering each participant’s unique needs and circumstances.

As part of your addiction treatment program, we believe your stay with us should be as comforting and relaxing as we can possibly make it. As such, we offer a wide range excellent amenities as well as engaging alternative programs and recreational activities to support you in your recovery.
***Indoor Activities (Swim, Gym, Yoga, & Reiki)
Our on-site gym and indoor swimming pool provide an opportunity for you to focus on your physical health, helping to heal your body. We have a trained health and fitness instructor to guide you through a customized program, taking you through a routine that involves a treadmill, cycle, free weights, and a weight station.The addiction recovery process can be, at times, both physically and emotionally difficult. Some days, you will have an onslaught of information and emotions to handle. Medidation, Yoga, & Reiki treatments help to restore your peaceful energy, calming and centering you in your body.
***Outdoor Activities (Golf, Cross Country Skiing, & Snowshoeing)
Enjoying your life in a healthy way, learning to have fun sober, can greatly limit the risk of relapse. Depending on the season, we offer a variety of outdoor recreational activities, as well as off-site excursions.

As a treatment centre with a holistic approach, nutrition is a key component to our addiction treatment program. We have experienced chefs on staff to assess and then meet all of your dietary needs. Our team members work together to create healthy, delicious menus that nourish the body and spirit.

Addiction is a disease that affects not only the individual suffering from it, but also their loved ones and the people around them. The success
rate in recovery is dramatically improved when the entire family participates in treatment, as it is essential for breaking the cycle. Family members will participate in weekly education sessions and support groups and must be committed to their own growth not only while their loved one is in treatment, but also after they leave.
