Do you feel tired before you even start the day? 💭

I knowwww, when energy is low the LAST thing you want to do is move your body. Winter’s been a long one here in St. John’s, we’re living in a super chaotic timeline… it’s totally understandable if you’re exhausted. Checks out.

However: deep breaths and mindful movement might be just the thing to help perk you up- and we’d love to help you boost your energy (and mood) on the mat.

Getting started with something new is usually the hardest part — especially as grown-ups. We have this idea that if we’re not already good at it we can’t TRY, for fear of looking silly or not “fitting in”.

No fears on that here. ❌

Our community is warm, welcoming, and proud of you for showing up! Everyone was new once, and experienced that same feeling of intimidation. But after that initial step through the door, there’s so much to gain.

You don’t need special clothes, or a certain kind of body, just an open mind and a willingness to learn. Do yourself a kindness and come see what it’s all about! 😌

✨ Reiki & Restore ✨

A deeply calming, trauma-sensitive restorative class designed to help you slow down, settle your nervous system, and rest without pressure or performance.

Slow Down Sundays is a collaborative series of workshops by an amazing group of local wellness practitioners. Each teacher will bring their own style & modalities, with a shared goal of helping you come back to calm.

All of our teachers take great care in creating experiences- it’s never “just another class!” We do what we do because we truly believe in the healing powers of this practice, and we love sharing that with you. 😌

Yin + Yoga Nidra: March 15, 4:30-6:00pm ✨

This session has been specially curated to take you on a journey through the seven chakras (energy centers) of the body. Meghan will teach a Yin sequence to bring awareness to each and encourage energetic flow, before Wade takes the lead with a Yoga Nidra guided meditation to explore the subtle body more deeply.

Class will be entirely floor-based, with lots of props to support us along the way. You’ll leave feeling clear, rested, and recharged for the week ahead.

Do your nervous system a kindness, and join Cheryl this Sunday for Restorative Yoga & Breath. 🌿

Restorative Yoga is a nourishing and passive practice intended to help you recharge and unwind. All poses are long-held, floor-based, and super-supported with a cozy nest of props. Paired with soothing breath work, this session will bring you well-needed rest and deep relaxation.

Cheryl has been a student of yoga for 30 years and a teacher for almost 20, in addition to her work as a Naturotherapist. She loves to teach Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra as these practices leave her feeling more kind hearted to herself and the beings around her. Her calm, gentle presence is like a warm hug- you’re sure to feel safe in her care.

If this sounds like something your body and heart would benefit from, but you’re not able to attend in person, we’ve decided to open this session up for Online participation as well. Props needed (and potential substitutes) are listed on the class registration page, so you can prepare your own cozy nest at home! 💻
