Change truly does happen in a moment.
A moment of decision.

From a move across the country 🚛
To sitting beside my husband in the dressing room both doing our make up before we hit the stage, together.

There’s things you see coming a mile away and others that seem to smack u in the face before you can blink or take a breathe.

I prefer to make the decisions rather then life make them for me, but not gonna lie, that isn’t always the easiest.

This season has been many things, and I am looking to the horizon and season of rest in the near future.

One thing that has always been consistent is Gods persistent pursuit of my heart, passion and proper place in my life.

Even in the busiest of seasons He is ever present and waiting in my pause.

The space between
Where you are

Is what I refer to as
the “gap of misery”

“How did I get here”
“I didn’t think it would turn out this way”
“Where did the time go”
These are just a few, I hear my clients say

To close the gap
Is the goal
But without the map
Your a wandering soul

Ive been here many times in my life, and to be honest I will probably be here many times again.

I’m ok with that.
But I’m not ok with staying in the “gap of misery”

It’s a simple equation really

Humans are a bunch of patterns
> Figure out the pattern
+ See a new path
+ Break the old pattern
+ Have a plan
+ Take the imperfect, messy & uncomfortable steps
= Build the muscles needed to stick to it

Do you ever find yourself wishing there was a PAUSE button for life?

To catch your breathe?
To complete your task list?
To do the things that always seem to never get done in a day?

Or maybe to reset completely?

To reset your focus?
To reset your priorities so they align with what you truly value?
To reset the pace you have been running at?

Time doesn’t wait for you to catch up.
Time doesn’t stop because you do.

Time is Time.

How you spend it is 100% up to you.

You do have a PAUSE button but only you can press it.

Don’t keep wishing for something that is available to you.
Don’t keep telling yourself the same story that is preventing you from accessing what you desire.
Don’t look back wishing that you would have.

Pressing pause to reset, recalibrate and realign is all a part of making time to reconnect to yourself, and shift from a rhythm of grit to grace.

This was me, for many years and due to this belief I hid my “true self” in a never ending pile of self help books, addicted to taking course after course, certification after certification, from one guru to the next. I hid my anxiety. I created structures around me to hide the mental health war that raged within my mind. I used substance to ease the high vibration and pace of my days.

I was never able to see the genius inside of me, because I was so busy looking to find the answers outside of myself. Caught in a never ending loop of trying to figure out what was wrong with me, when all the while there was so much more that was right with me.

I was so afraid that if people actually found out the truth about me (which was a lie all along) I would be abandoned, alone & rejected.

What I didn’t realize was I had abandoned myself. I rejected myself. There I was surrounded by people living a life alone.

When I started to realize I had believed a lie my entire life, an simple but mighty shift happened. I began looking for what was right & HOLY MOLY was I surprised at what I found.

WHAT YOU BELIEVE CARVES A WAY FOR WHAT YOU RECEIVE IN YOUR LIFE 💣

Little Italy New York City 🇮🇹

It’s been some time since we have had time away together.

It’s amazing to me how often we as humans want to avoid the tough conversations or simply just don’t know how to have them without getting caught up in a “repeat cycle” that doesn’t ever seem to go anywhere (if u can relate pls put an emoji in comments so I know I’m not alone on this one).

After coming through a season that held many of those conversations my heart can feel the beat of a new rhythm.

It’s vital to remember that no matter what season you may be in, take the time to celebrate.

Pause and enjoy the moments.

Know that every season has a beginning and end.

I definitely take in the and when I look at this picture two very distinct feelings within me.

Two very distinct visuals come to which both contribute to of for me.

First, I have many great memories and strong feelings when I think about this place. Like seriously who knew there was a magical land where they painted their front doors … (definitely pink doors in )

Second, my imagination goes into a story of what I think is behind that door & can I just be totally ? I have a very overactive and so good luck trying to guess!!

It’s airy.
