Service fee policy:

Policy: the mobile foot care nurse will provide services to all populations, setting a rate of $85 for an initial assessment and treatment. A rate of $75 will be required for follow up visits/reassessments. Visit times may range from 60-120 minutes depending on the client.

Fee: written receipts can be issued at the end of each visit if requested, e-transfer, or cash payments available. There is no direct billing to insurance companies, therefore, clients will be given their receipt and expected to seek reimbursement themselves for the fee.

Subsidized clients: subsidized foot care financial support will have to pay the difference of fees listed above. If the subsidy does not cover the costs (ex: subsidy is $40, client will have to pay the additional $35-$45 to cover full fee depending on which service was provided at the time).

Additional fees: depending on location, clients will be charged additional $10-$20 if located past St.Georges or the gravels.

Hi everyone! 🦶

My name is Alexis Mercer. I've been a Registered Nurse for 1 year working in acute care at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital.

I've recently completed my advanced foot care course through the Centre for Nursing Studies in St.Johns and I'm looking to take on some clients!

Some of the things I will be able to provide for you:
- Treatment of common foot issues such as corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, thickened nails, and more
- Diabetic foot care
- Assessment of your feet and lower legs
- Creating a personalized care plan to prevent any future foot issues and to manage any current foot problems
- Offering advice and treatments to prevent any further issues with your feet
- Moisturizing and massage post foot care

I will providing mobile foot care services starting in July 2025 within the Stephenville/Bay St. George area and will be limiting the number of clients I take as I work full time. If you need an appointment for July or any time after you can reach me on Facebook for now and I can book you in.
