Did you know that there’s something you can do about your kiddo’s mouth breathing?

As a pediatric chiropractor, I’ve learned quite a few things about cranial and oral development, which means I have some tools that can help you and your kiddo!

A full assessment is needed to evaluate the cranium and oral structures, and then we can start to work on shifting things with gentle adjustments and at home exercises. I’ll often also recommend the to help even more when you’re at home!

There are countless studies that show the safety of chiropractic, so why is this myth still circulating?

Chiropractic adjustments come in all shapes and sizes - from very light pressure to more vigorous manual adjustments. And this is where I will say: not every kind of adjustment is safe for everyone!

A lot of our education is about learning what kind of adjustment is safe in what situation (we also learn when it’s not safe to adjust someone and to send them to the appropriate medical professionals).

But for 99.9% of the population? Adjustments are totally safe and effective. Your chiropractor should also be able to modify their adjustment style to your needs (or refer you to another chiropractor if needed).
