We’ve got some closures coming up in October! We’ll be closed 2 Saturdays this month - the 12th and 19th. I have a course on the 19th that I am incredibly excited for and can’t wait to share with you!!

Do you have a good ergonomic set-up for work?

My last post talked about the importance of good posture (if you haven’t seen it yet, go check it out!). But do you know how to fix it?

Typically the people with the worst posture are the desk workers. Being immobile for hours on end is probably one of the worst things for your body. While getting up and moving around is the best thing I can recommend for you, swipe to check out some things you can do to make your desk set-up better!

A year ago, a mom brought her 3 month old baby to see me. Due to some birth trauma (she was born with her arm next to her head, which caused some strain in neck), baby girl had a preference for always having her head turned to one side. Luckily, this didn’t affect her ability to breastfeed, but it did mean that she woke up cranky and stiff.

Within a few adjustments, we saw a massive improvement in her range of motion and her comfort, which made for a much happier baby! Mom was so happy with this change that I now see mom, dad, and all 3 kids for regular adjustments!

Regular chiropractic care is important for everyone of all ages! It can help with pain, mobility, stress management, digestive issues, proper development and milestone achievements, and much more!

Introducing Hedyeh!!

As I’m sure most of you know, Oaktree Stittsville’s acupuncturist Catherine is going on maternity leave soon. The wonderful Hedyeh will be covering her patient’s care until her return in the new year.

Hedyeh has worked with many to help with issues such as stress and anxiety, depression, pain management, fertility support, weight management, and hair loss.

In her spare time, Hedyeh loves to spend time with family and friends, and exploring new coffee shops around the city!
