Last Thursday was one of the scariest moments we’ve had as a family.

My daughter was at home doing school and went to plug the TV into an extension cord and it exploded in her hand.

In an instant, everything changed.

But what also showed up in that moment… was this community 🤍

The firefighters and paramedics who responded were incredible.
Calm, reassuring, and exactly who you hope shows up in a moment like that.

One of the female firefighters even rode in the ambulance with my daughter at her request, just to help keep her calm and supported. That meant more than I can put into words.

The team at Strathmore Hospital was just as amazing.

They kept her informed, helped ease her fear, and handled everything with so much care while coordinating with Children’s.

We talk a lot about community through Balance + Restore Co.
But this… this is the community we live in.

And I am so proud to call it home.

To the people who showed up for my daughter in a moment she needed it most, thank you 🤍

We’re all different.

Different life experiences.

Different personalities.

But our values are the same.

We wanted to create a space that feels relaxed, welcoming, and calm.
A place where people feel comfortable walking in exactly as they are.

We believe in meeting people where they’re at.
In community.
In support.

Because we’ve all learned life can be hard sometimes. And no one is meant to do it alone.

That’s what makes this space different.

And somehow, even in a short amount of time…this team already feels like family 🤍

This week as part of Youth Week, we’re opening our space for teens to just come as they are no pressure, no expectations.

Just real connection, support, and space to breathe.

Here’s what we’ve put together:

Such a cool experience 🤍

I had the opportunity to record a radio commercial at @104.5morecountry with and honestly, it was so much fun.

Getting to see behind the scenes, how it all works, and be part of something like this was such a surreal moment.

But more than anything… it’s just really special to be able to share what we’re building at Balance + Restore Co. in ways like this.

Grateful for opportunities like this and for the support from this community 🤍

A lot of people don’t say anything.

Not because they’re okay but because they feel like they shouldn’t be struggling.

Because they feel shame. Because they don’t understand why they feel this way
when they have so much to be grateful for.
Because they feel guilty.

From the outside… you wouldn’t have known.

But behind closed doors, I was struggling
with depression, anxiety, night terrors, and PTSD.

I couldn’t work.
I was barely functioning.
Some days, even basic things felt impossible.

That’s exactly why this matters.

Because struggling doesn’t always look the way people expect it to.
