Windsong School of Healing Ltd.offers a Diploma through Windsong College of Healing Arts, a designated private career college dedicated to training holistic health and personal health professionals. Classes are small with the main emphasis on developing Holistic Estheticians, "Certified Holistic Health Practitioners™" and Integrated Shiatsu Practitioners. Students are taught a variety of Aesthetics and CHHP™ skills through Distance and Onsite learning to be able to compete well in the Spa and holistic health profession. At Windsong, we recognize that full time education is not suited to all who are interested in improving skills or learning new skills, so we have created a module based program which allows students to take all or some of the modules relevant to their study needs. All modules are credited towards the Certified Holistic Health & Shiatsu Practitioner Diploma and students are able to combine distance and onsite study to achieve their goals. Instructors of the Diploma program are well qualified and respected teachers and practitioners in their fields. All instructors are recognized by their various Associations. Windsong School of Healing Ltd. now offers an opportunity for graduates to apply for and work in a graduate clinic to gain experience in a professional self-directed format before moving out into the world and the open job market. Skills gained in the graduate clinic allow students to transition from student to professional in a safe and mentored environment. Windsong School’s Home is nestled at the base of the Beaufort Mountains in the Alberni Valley 5 minutes from the town of Port Alberni, B.C. It is surrounded by pastoral farms, forests, and miles of scenic trails branching off of 10 acres of land. Port Alberni is the gateway to the West Coast and a 1.5 hour drive from the famous Long Beach surf, Tofino, and Pacific Rim National Park. Our location is excellent for nature and sports enthusiasts. After 15 years in the Alberni Valley Windsong will be saying its farewell, as the campus is moving all operations to Surrey, BC. I would like to thank each and every person that has supported Windsong and Holistic Healing in the Valley and around the world through the CHHSP program and Student Clinic.
