Miijim Taaswin has been struggling to keep our doors open since October. We have managed so far, through the generosity of community. We lost all our food during the ice storm power outage. Yesterday Hoyt Miller of The York Region Police called me up and took me shopping Zehrs filled our cupboards and handed me a huge donation cheque. Miigwetch To***co Trails! The team here have been accepting food donations since November . Support from the community has been incredible. We are beyond grateful. This initiative is a success and To***co trails have decided to keep this ongoing. They are located at 7751 BlackRiver Rd , Georgina.

Aaniin Georgina Islanders.
Natalie, Dennis and Libby have always been there for our community. Hosting bingo, helping folks when they ask always a house full of children so parents can take a well needed break.
It’s time they could use our support.
Asking community members to lend them a hand to move in the next couple weeks and to offer suggestions on storage for their larger items. Any support will greatly help them at this time.
