Had an amazing time on a kayak trip out of northern Vancouver Island. I saw so many animals but unfortunately didn’t get any photos of them. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

In the last year or so when I have to laminate something, I’ve switched to matte laminating pouches. They don’t have the glare of traditional pouches. It’s great for students who have troubles seeing with the glare.

Trying to make flow chart to help students figure out if a word is a noun, verb, adjective, or preposition for a new activity. Will be posted soon.

Sounds crazy, right? Of course, I'm working on answering questions. But are you? Children won't be able to answer questions if they don't have the vocabulary or the background knowledge to answer. Use plastic bags that seal to cover an AAC device when engaging in messy play. The device still works, and it won't get damaged or dirty from the play.

This is hands down my favourite book about AAC to read to young children.
