🚧 Clinic Closure Update – Highway Closure 🚧

Due to the ongoing highway closure and the impact on a large number of our staff who rely on this route for travel, we will be adjusting our clinic operations today.

🔹 Latchford & Temagami Offices:
These locations will remain closed.

🔹 Cobalt Office:
Open with minimal staffing — we appreciate your patience as services may be limited.

📞 Appointments:
If you had a scheduled in-person appointment, a staff member will be reaching out to transition your visit to a virtual appointment where possible, or to reschedule.

Due to inclement weather and in the interest of keeping our staff and patients safe, the Latchford, Cobalt and Temagami Medical Clinics will be closed today.

If you had an in-person appointment scheduled, a member of our team will be contacting you to reschedule or switch your appointment to a virtual visit when possible.

Phones in Temagami and Latchford will still be monitored, so please feel free to call your clinic if you have questions or require an appointment.

Phones at the Cobalt clinic will not be answered today.

Today, our teams at the Temagami, Cobalt, and Latchford offices proudly took part in Pink Shirt Day 💗

Pink Shirt Day represents a powerful movement against bullying. It began in Canada in 2007 when two students wore pink shirts in support of a peer who was being bullied. Since then, it has grown into a national (and international) day of awareness focused on kindness, inclusion, and standing up for others.

Pink Shirt Day reminds us that bullying can happen anywhere — in schools, workplaces, online, and within communities — and that we all have a role to play in creating safe, respectful spaces.

As healthcare providers serving our small Northern communities, we believe in promoting dignity, compassion, and respect for everyone — not just today, but every day.
