Dr. Zuback was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, where she excelled in both school and sport. Dr. Zuback graduated in 2015 from the University of Vermont with a bachelor of science in exercise and movement science where she played four years of Division 1 ice hockey. During her time at Vermont she set numerous program records including the team record for most points and goals in a single season by a catamount in 2013 and the single season assists record in 2014. In four seasons, she never missed a game and set the program record in 2015 for 137 consecutive games played. She is tied for the lead in power play goals and ended her collegiate career second all time in scoring at Vermont. After undergrad she attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to obtain her doctor of chiropractic while playing professional women's hockey for the Toronto Furies in the CWHL.
From the weekend warrior to the elite athlete and everyone in between, Dr. Zuback's philosophy is geared towards treating the cause of a patient's injury, rather than just the symptoms themselves.
Dr. Zuback appreciates the importance of staying current with research in order to optimize patient care and recovery.
Exercise is an important part of all Dr. Zuback’s treatments. Brittany will take you through a rehab regime tailored to your injury, ability level and goals. She not only uses manual therapy, such as manipulation, soft tissue therapy and dry needling, but also insists on the importance of patient education and understanding.
Dr. Zuback is a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Medical provider, a Shift Concussion Management Level One Provider. She is certified in Functional Integrated Acupuncture (Dry Needling) and is trained in treating patients suffering from Knee Osteoarthritis through the University of Melbourne's PEAK Program.
