Gentle movement & deep rest that follows our bodies curiosity & edges, not just a script 🌀
And when we do so- we can really start to inhabit & listen to our body 👂 To trust that it’s always been trying to protect us, even when it’s created patterns that don’t serve us or keep us feeling stuck. There’s a reason our body maladapts and has ways of protecting us. Maybe the fatigue you’re feeling is really your body putting on the break pedal to physically slow you down if you’ve been in go go go mode for too long. The body doesn’t speak in words, it speaks in symptoms.
And fatigue for example- is often it’s more honest language. I know- because I went though YEARS of very challenging symptoms like fatigue & chronic pain.
Being “embodied” which is really the heart of everything I teach and practice in my own life- means we can start to feel and trust when something is off- and then choose to step back, soften, or stand up.
It has taken me years to really trust and listen to my own body’s wisdom. But it is the gateway to true healing, sometimes a bit messy as we uncouple those patterns and start to SAY NO without guilt, to rest without always explaining, and to feel our YES’ way more clearly.
Last nights yoga class on the Farm was all about boundaries, not as punishment, but permission to not just push through. To feel, to pause, to listen, and move from a place of safety, not survival.
