One of the most common misunderstandings about limits is confusing them with demands, ultimatums, or control. A limit is about what you need and what you will do. It's not about dictating what your partner does.

Telling them to stop something is a demand. Threatening to leave if they don't change is an ultimatum. Controlling who they see is not a limit, it's control. These things might come from a real and valid need, but they're not the same thing as a healthy limit.

A real limit says "I need this" not "you must do this."

The timing of an apology matters as much as its content. An apology that arrives before the hurt person has finished being heard is less about them and more about ending the discomfort of having caused harm.

Waiting to apologise well is harder and worth it.

Save this and share it with someone who needs to see the difference.

How are you doing finding good in each situation?

People-pleasing will always leave you feeling empty. 😮‍💨

Here’s the truth: You don’t need to bend over backwards to make others like you. ✨ That’s not your job.

We don’t like everyone, so why do we expect everyone to like us?
Focus on being true to yourself, not pleasing others.

Today I am recognizing that I have wanted my own business, something I absolutely love, for a long time. I wanted it to be a service to others that would help with people's individuality and personal growth. I have this and I am very grateful. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Daily reminder.

What’s one thing you truly love about yourself? 💕

The way you relate to yourself shapes how you show up in every part of your life.
When you nurture self-love, you build confidence and spark joy from within. ✨

The way someone treats other people is a mirror of how they treat themselves. When someone is constantly cutting, critical, or cold toward you, you're usually catching a glimpse of the voice running in their own head. ⬇️

That doesn't make their behavior acceptable. It doesn't mean you owe them the space to keep working it out on you. But it can stop you from absorbing their dys-regulation as a verdict on your worth.

When someone can't celebrate your wins, when they turn warm conversations into subtle competition, when your growth makes them visibly uncomfortable, that's a window into something they haven't reconciled yet in themselves.

You were never the reason they couldn't be happy for you. What they're carrying was there long before you walked into the room. You don't have to explain yourself to people who need you smaller. You don't have to earn goodwill by dimming.

Stay who you are. The right people don't need you to shrink to stay close.

Send this to the friend who's been questioning themself because someone else couldn't handle their shine. ✨

If you're in Washington D.C. this weekend, we need you there.

We're holding a butterfly vigil for Virginia Roberts Giuffre this Saturday, April 25 at 2pm — a survivor who told the truth, named the powerful, and fought for every woman and girl who couldn't. She deserves our remembrance. Her legacy and work deserve to live on.
