Story Time!!! On our hike today, I said to Luke once on the trail “look for creators gifts” once on the other side of the trail we come across a deer. I have loved here for almost four years and have been hiking in these woods since and have never seen a deer. Wait, it gets better! Yesterday, I saw the following times 1:11, 1:22, 1:44, 2:22 and 5:55 (spiritual numbers, for those that believe). Okay, still not done…I hike over the hill and two hawks were there to greet us singing their songs. My son’s name is Gekek (Hawk).
I looked it up and am choosing to open my heart to all it means.
That all can’t mean nothing and the hawks were there to validate the message. Regardless, being on the trails with my oldest and receiving these gifts today was proof that I am already blessed ❤️❤️❤️

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance 🏳️‍⚧️

May we challenge the colonial narratives that places gender as a binary

May we acknowledge and uphold the strength in our diversity

May we create safe spaces for trans youth to thrive in their truth

May we honour the gifts and sacredness of our Two Spirit, transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary relatives.

May we remember those that lost their lives from those unwilling to see the beauty of trans expression

May we remember love.
