What is the definition of addiction?

Addiction is a treatable, chronic medical disease involving complex interactions among brain circuits, genetics, the environment, and an individual’s life experiences. People with addiction use substances or engage in behaviors that become compulsive and often continue despite harmful consequences.

Prevention efforts and treatment approaches for addiction are generally as successful as those for other chronic diseases.

Sooooo, its been almost a year since I have posted on this page && I'm sad about it... I have a passion to help those struggling with the disease of addiction but I found myself losing that passion a little while after creating this page simply because I felt my engagement should be much more then what it was & is at this point, It truly discouraged me. BUT as I sit here and think to myself "why should the numbers matter" even if I can reach one person & help save their life who cares about all the other bu****it that comes with creating a positive platform for addicts or recovering addicts...

please if anyone is still here comment below and share my page lets grow together & help those struggling 💙💙💙

Good Morning,
sorry i havent been posting the last little while with the holidays and work its been a bit over whelming.
Lock down has official hit again in most parts of the world which is very unforunate i feel if this had of been done in the beginging and not half ass the cases of Covid would have been most likely limited or maybe gone idk just my thoughts.
ive been watching and seeing online alot of people overdosing especially since COVID has hit seems the numbers of overdosing folks is becoming very high and honestly its so scary.
i hope if you are someone or maybe know someone who is a active user you choose to do whats right.
PS. look into possibly getting a narcan kit even if your not someone who uses or knows people who do , its still important to have and help those you may see that could be overdosing. happens everyday.
If you are a addict active or not and need any support please call Addictions helpline

Good Afternoon,
First I want to thank everyone who has taken the time out to like & follow this page.
Also just want to put a small reminder out that we’re tryna grow a family here and show people we’re not all bad, If I’m being honest I believe we all have good and bad in us and I believe on one shoulder we have a angel telling us to do good and on the other shoulder a little devil encouraging bad behaviour. Don’t be shy to share your story or maybe just seek advice, Everyone is entitled to there own opinions that very well may be but on this page we want nothing but positive vibes to help one another this is a no judgement zone.

Anyways that’s enough of my rant please like & share my page it takes two seconds.

&& remember addiction is living in a body That fights to survive with the mind that tries to die!

Have a blessed day🙂
