Congratulations to our first round of shelter get started obedience graduates!! These amazing dogs have worked for the last 4 weeks with a volunteer learning basic obedience skills such as sit, down, loose leash walking, as well as some other confidence building exercises.

All three of these wonderful boys are looking for their forever home. Make an appointment with the adoption team to meet them!

Honorable mentions to some other amazing dogs who got adopted before they could finish, as well as some stand in dogs who will be available soon!

Rebel and Star ✨ Two very special adoptable dogs from who are looking for homes!

We took these two out for a walk away from the shelter to get some real world experience. Baseball diamonds full of kids playing ball, bikes, even other dogs. These two handled everything with stride and enjoyed each others company in the process.

Meet Wick 🥰

A very special boy looking for a very special home. He’s about a year old and has been at the shelter for a few months working with the behavior team. Wick loves the B A L L and can play fetch for hours! He is figuring out how the world works after a rough start to his life. Sweet, smart, sensitive and kind.. he deserves his own place to call home ❤️

Another beautiful day means another outdoor class for us 🙌 We had a large group last week so we really focused on loose leash walking + dog distractions. Our second class practiced lots of out of sight position holds and some recall!
