We have been in the business of caring for seniors for over 25 years and now we are turning our focus on Salon & Spa Services - a little appreciated section of the senior housing, assisted living and long term care business. Our Founder, Lisa Brush, began her earliest career as a Stylist in Montreal’s La Coupe and then onto several other salons in Montreal and Ontario prior to going back to College for 7 years and on to earn a business degree and enter the business of caring for seniors.

In our years of serving seniors as a management company, we have seen great salons and dormant salons -- we have had first hand experience with the frustration of finding the right fit and structure to operate a robust salon. Let’s face it - they are not usually money maker sections of the business and they are not our focus BUT! oh when we have one that is an integral and active part of our operation they are amazing hubs of positive activity, we show case them on marketing tours and include them in our activity calender's. When done well, they provide more value than the “onsite doctor” and certainly a whole bunch more fun! Who doesn't like to look good and feel good; its a social time for families and residents; it brings back “normal” to often challenging times of aging. It can be a MONEY maker but even more important it can be a serious marketing advantage and substantially improve word of mouth referrals -- for free!

We actively work with our residence partners, to develop new business through various marketing initiatives including: free cuts and styles on move in; hosting fun events and charity events to jointly promote our business together. If desired, we bring in outside customers to allow vibrant operations that are truly connected to the community at large. For the on-site Executive Director: no more hassle chasing the stylist that didn’t show up, or trying to negotiate contracts, or dealing with complaints about the service. We will also go get the residents that need help ambulating and all our stylists are training as Certified Dementia Care Practitioners so they have great skills to assist when the client has memory loss. We will ensure the stylists have all mandatory training to work in your property and have all had current police checks/vulnerable sector checks.
