Was gifted the most serious winter mitts I’ll ever have.

- tested to -35
- removable & machine washable liners
- leather originates from local hunters and tanned at an Ontario tannery
- not farm raised
- made by hand (look at those stitches!)

Thinking lately why we wear the things we wear. I’m not a materialistic person, my style has always been minimal, monochromatic, but the few accessories I wear, I wear on a ritualistic and daily basis.

I’ve worn these earrings EVERY DAY for…6? 7 years? Have 3 other pairs, including the same ones with in a dark patina, but every time I try something else, I go back to these. I get compliments on them all the time still to this day.

I love them, adore Gillian, the person responsible for these. She’s an amazing human, even took the time to go through how she makes them with me.

I highly recommend anything she makes, her pieces are stunning and so her. Putting these on starts my day right. :)

The ring is made by and was given to me by and , another piece I’ve worn every day for years. It’s one of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received. This commission is me in a nutshell: horses, flowers and my logo. You should see the tan line, it’s intense. I love it.

The bracelet was given to me by my first boyfriend 20 years ago. Poor guy had such a hard time finding someone who could engrave my Korean name into it. A+ for effort because he got it done. ❤️

Made the shirt I’m wearing from a great stretch denim from . I miss shopping there. Looking forward to being inspired in their store again in the future. Need to make more of these.

Support local makers, any makers. The right ones put a lot of love into what they put out into the world. The price is small considering what you’re getting. ❤️

Been enjoying the morning rides! No one really out on the road yet and by the time they get out, I’m on my way back home.

There’s still so many people not distancing without a mask on. I pass tons every morning; cyclists, joggers, pedestrians.

I chuckle with satisfaction every time I see someone with their mouth wide open as they ride past because the midgies are out in full force and I know they’ll be eating a bunch in a second. 🤮😂

Wear a mask if you go by the water, there’s some nice summer ones in my Etsy shop. 🔗 in bio.

Form, function, four layers, fun, fancy and finished! 🤗

Really needed a little pick me up after Ford’s announcement the other day and finishing these samples was really satisfying and well timed.

There are so many things out of our control, our leadership has really failed us and shown us again and again that their commercial interests and not the well being of the population is their true agenda. (I have a vote of no confidence ready to go.) What we can control is how we conduct ourselves day to day, listen to what our medical experts are saying. Wear a mask, wash our hands, stay home and don’t hang out with others indoors.

If you’re not able to stay home for work, these masks have 4 LAYERS - two filter fabric layers sandwiched between the outer and inner layers. I have a little more peace of mind at work and if you’re in the same boat, you can have that too, they’re amazing for extended periods of wear.

We’ve been in it for the long haul and honestly, I’m over it right now. There is something to be said about the psychology of colour though. Bright colours really do help. I’ve been buying myself flowers too, I have them in every room! Overboard? NOT AT ALL.

Musical inspirations continued…

Been listening to mostly electronic instrumentals lately to get into the flow (surprise surprise) because it’s been a real struggle lately, but THE NEW FABRICS ARE HERE and the vibrant colours are doing great things for my brain.

Say helloooo to Liberty Fabrics! This fabric is super luxe, so so soft & GORGEOUS. The colours are rich & crisp, absolutely beautiful.

I’ve been a floral designer for over 20 years. I ❤️ FLOWERS, but never met a floral print that I liked, until now. It was really, really, REALLY hard to choose which ones I wanted to share most, but I’m really happy with the selection and I hope you are too.

If florals aren’t your thing, solids in Stone Grey, Moss Green, Navy and Black are also available.

Speckled summer masks are live! (Etsy store 🔗 in bio). I don’t know about you, but I wanted to infuse a little colour & fun into my mask game. I don’t need to remind you about what our current situation is right now, but the next few weeks are key!

Plus it’s getting warmer. These fabrics are soooooo light, but have a high thread count so comfort & breathability are still top notch and uncompromised. It’s very close to wearing a disposable surgical mask, without the waste.

Solid black is coming soon, keep an eye out! I’ll give you a heads up when they’re ready to go.

New mask fabrics! This is a STRETCH for me. Not plain? COLOUR??? It’s metallic copper speckles makes me feel like I’m having a party on my face. 🎉

The fabric is incredibly soft & silky and made in Japan! It’s super light, but has a high thread count, these will be perfect for summer.

A very limited amount will be available soon, hopefully by the end of the week. I’ll keep you posted!
