Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

It is one thing learning the word and another To come to the knowledge of the truth. "To come" is an expression of conviction, acceptance, practice and obedience to something. It is possible to be accumulating truth you have never practiced.

Many believers have the learning experience. They write notes they never read nor practice. They listen to sermons they never make any attempt to practice. They memorise scriptures that has never crossed their minds to put to work. What a generation!

We can be different. We can learn and also come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3:16 KJV
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The profit of scriptures is when it corrects you, rebuke you, reproof you and instruct you in the way of righteousness. Life in this Kingdom does not only function by miracles. It largely works by principles. And it takes the instructions and corrections of scriptures to help us build the right principles necessary for a life of good success. BE A PRACTICING STUDENT OF SCRIPTURES.
