Stop using retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), vitamin C serums, and any exfoliating or irritating products 3–5 days before your appointment.
3. No Recent Treatments:💉
Avoid chemical peels, laser treatments, or waxing in the area to be treated for at least 1–2 weeks before your session.
4. Skip Blood Thinners:🩸
If possible and approved by your doctor, avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements (like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E) for 3–5 days before the procedure, as they can increase the risk of bruising.
5. Come With Clean Skin:🛀
Arrive with a clean face—no makeup, lotions, or sunscreen.
