Most players think confidence is a skill problem.
It’s not.
I see it all the time with hockey players I work with—from youth to pro.
In practice they look like a completely different player:
✔ making plays✔ attacking with speed✔ trusting their instincts
Then the game starts…
And suddenly they’re:• gripping the stick• second-guessing decisions• playing safe instead of playing free
What changed?
Pressure. Evaluation. Consequences.
Practice is about execution.Games expose your identity and mindset.
If you don’t have a system to manage nerves, reset after mistakes, and keep your focus on what’s important next… confidence will always come and go.
The best players don’t just train their bodies.
They train their game-time mind.
If you want help building your Game-Time Confidence System,
DM me “CONFIDENCE.”
Let’s get to work.
Because at the highest levels of hockey…
Victory Starts in the Mind. 🧠🏒
