Whether it's deciding what you eat, who you talk to, the emotions you feel, whether or not you procrastinate completing tasks - every one of these seemingly minor decisions will change your future. If you considered this more, you would probably be more inclined to make different decisions than you do now.

If you are looking for goals or resolutions for the New Year, one that could drastically improve your life is to be more mindful and less careless about our decisions on a daily basis.

Sometimes it's easy to forget something that's incredibly critical to our health and success: we need connection πŸ”—

It is so easy to become disconnected from other people, from what it means to "be healthy", and from the world community. We do not find health in isolating ourselves or disregarding those connections we all need to survive.

One of the most fulfilling things you can do with your life is never stop learning from the world around you, and always be willing to share your knowledge with others. Health and success are gained through conscious connection to yourself and those around you πŸ™πŸΌ

Getting outside, especially with my kids, is one of my favorite ways to spend my "downtime". My kids asked me how I'm hiking in birkenstocks with no socks πŸ€”

Besides getting that dopamine rush from the cold, I like the grit of dirt and twigs under my feet. I took my shoes off to pray barefoot on the ground, connecting with the earth for even greater healing.

I had a sense of calm for the next 48 hours that I havent experienced in a while. We are electric beings and grounding yourself with the earth is not a maybe, its a must. Try it and let me know how you feel πŸŒ±πŸ™πŸ½

Only treating symptoms allows serious illness the time it needs to become an irreversible problem.

When we have those smaller symptoms or issues it's our body's way of sending us a help signal, indicating there's a larger issue that needs our attention. Once the problem has become unbearable we head to our healthcare providers hoping to be cured.

Investing in your health now, fixing or avoiding potential future health concerns before they become serious can save your future self from suffering πŸ™πŸΌ Your health is never a bad investment.

Earlier this week I had lunch with the Dallas Cowboys at their training facility. I wasn't allowed to take pictures of them, but I have the next best thing: a picture of the guy that brought me, Dr Fab Mancini.

His amazing story begins in Neurosurgery, but when he realized that our current healthcare system is actually a sick care system he made the decision to leave his position as a neurosurgeon to become a Chiropractor. Now he has written multiple New York Times best selling books, and coaches 100's of CEOs and Doctors on how to thrive.

Do you know the difference between sick care versus healthcare?

Look through these panels above to understand what the difference between the two are!

In sick care, we wait to get sick then we mask the symptom with medication. This makes you stay in treatment for life. On the other hand, healthcare, we understand what may cause the disease and we learn the habits that prevent us from getting it in the first place.

Gaining an ounce of knowledge about health and wellness each day can make a difference in how you treat yourself. In the long run, it can even help you prevent yourself from having diabetes and all sorts of diseases.

THANK YOU!

I was going through LinkedIn and I saw the word, "genetics", in Laurren's post. I found it intriguing and was pleasantly surprised as I looked further on what it was about. Looking through it made me realize that she had just watched the summit we launched entitiled, "Biohack Your DNA".

This summit blew me away, and overwhelmed me with the positive response it had been receiving. We had over 25,000 people who registered to watch our 7-day summit where they dove deep into DNA. I spent 8 months curating 40 interviews with world specialists, and I really appreciate the value of 25,000 people choosing to spend 7 days with us, watching and absorbing the knowledge our summit wanted to impart.

I have been getting a ton of emails from people explaining how happy they are with the life-changing implications the summit brought, and I am so honored getting so much positive feedback!

Keeping your body in check is part of being spiritually fit.

More often than not, we forget that there are several forms of worship. One of the greatest forms of worship is to return your body in the way that you got it. I was given this gift of health and good fitness. Part of the way I worship, and how I value belief is to take care of what I had been given - it's not mine. Our bodies are temporarily ours. I show my appreciation for what I have been entrusted with by taking care of it.

From CNN πŸ“°: "Social stress such as discrimination and family problems, along with job and money problems, can contribute to premature aging of your immune system, a recent study found. That's a double whammy, as the immune system already deteriorates with age.

Immune aging can lead to cancer, heart disease and other age-related health conditions and reduce the effectiveness of vaccines, such as Covid-19, said lead author Eric Klopack, a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Southern California's Leonard Davis School of Gerontology."

Being "social" is a part of our everyday lives - people often spend multiple hours over the course of the day engaging in social activities via their devices. It's often said that social media is bad for your mental health, but could it be negatively impacting our physical health, namely our immune health?
