It's normal to feel anxious about how you may react to anesthesia prior to an upcoming surgery. Stories online or from friends can be worrying—but don't be alarmed—your will explain how they'll keep you safe and comfortable throughout the procedure, as well as anesthesia side effects you may experience when you regain consciousness.

A great first step is to become familiar with the most common side effects, so that you can bring your questions directly to your anesthesiologist and go into your operation feeling prepared and confident: https://ow.ly/ZxVR50Y8vA8
